Check who is contacting you

When someone contacts you on behalf of WID.AGENCY, do not rely only on a name, photograph or image of an employee ID. Compare the current record with the exact WhatsApp number or Telegram handle used to contact you.

Why verify

We want people contacting WID.AGENCY to be able to check a manager's contact independently. The register shows only employees whose records the company has approved for this purpose.

The check helps you compare an ID, a name and published contact methods. It does not replace speaking with the company: someone else can copy a name or a picture of an ID.

How to compare a contact

Enter what you have. An employee ID number, phone number, Telegram handle or name. You can also open the page from the QR code on an employee ID.
Read the current answer. When a record is found, the service shows the name, ID number and published contact buttons. One employee may have several official WhatsApp numbers or Telegram handles.
Compare the exact contact. The number or handle used to message you should match one of the buttons in the record. A matching name alone is not enough.

What the answer means

Record found: an active employee record was published at the time of the request. Still compare the exact number or handle: a profile alone does not prove who is holding a phone.

Several matches: make your query more specific, for example with an ID number or full contact. No record found: this alone is not proof of fraud, but do not send money or documents until the situation is clarified.

The result reflects the register at the time you check it. An old screenshot, printout or QR code is not a substitute for a new check.

What data is used

The name, ID or contact you enter is sent to the service for a search. For security, the log keeps protected fingerprints of the query and network address, the time and outcome of the check, browser information and a reference to the matching record, if any. The full text of the query is not stored in the log. Retention periods and deletion are described in the documents linked below.

When you open the page, the hosting server may record ordinary visit details such as network address, time, page address and browser type.

Employee verification does not request access to your location, camera or microphone. If you tap a WhatsApp or Telegram button, further conversation takes place in that separate service under its own rules.

Do not send money or personal documents to a contact you cannot verify. If you need another check or suspect someone is impersonating a manager, write to info@wid.agency.
