Why we record data during a check
For safety — yours and ours. Fakes are usually checked dozens of times in a row, from one device and one place. That is why we store: the document number, the date and time of the check, the device and browser, the approximate location (if you allowed it) and the network address. These records reveal number guessing and show where a fake is spreading from. Only the WID.AGENCY team sees them.
